Margie Medalle
, President and Chief Executive Officer
Margie
Medalle, the former President and CEO of Genesys North America was responsible for the execution
of the company's strategy and technology driven acquisitions within the region.
Medalle was instrumental in successfully leading the major North American
acquisitions for the company. Medalle
brings more than sixteen years of Financial/Executive Management experience and
more than ten years of teleconferencing experience to her current position.
Medalle
began her career in teleconferencing as a consultant to Aloha Conferencing,
while managing a consulting firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions,
strategic planning, financial analysis and efficiency studies. Her clients
included companies within Hawaii's "Top 250" as well as San Francisco based
corporations.
Upon
the acquisition by Cable & Wireless of Aloha in 1995, Medalle was appointed
Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President and Managing Director. As
President, Medalle oversaw implementation of corporate strategy and was
responsible for all facets of Operational, Sales and Financial management.
Medalle
holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University
and a B.S. in Accounting from San Francisco State University, USA. She has
lectured at Hawaii Pacific University, the largest private university in Hawaii
and served as a member of the University Senate in 1999 and a member of their
Business Advisory Council. Additionally,
Medalle was an active participant in Governor Ben Cayatano’s high-technology
focus group organized to promote the resources available in Hawaii to attract
technology-based companies to the State. In
1999 Medalle received the Business Person award by Pacific Business News and has
been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.
In 2001 Medalle was the recipient of the Lieutenant Governor's Award as
one of Hawaii's 100 High Tech Leaders.
Gary
Payne, Chief Operating Officer
In
1995 Payne was instrumental in the successful acquisition of Aloha Conferencing
by Cable & Wireless, Inc. Subsequent
to the acquisition in 1995, Gary Payne remained the Business Development
Director for the Cable & Wireless Conferencing division.
In 1999 Cable & Wireless sold this division to the third largest conferencing specialist in the world. Payne was
subsequently appointed
to Business Development Director and later, promoted to Vice President Project
Management.
Payne
holds a BA degree from the University of Oregon and was the recipient of the
Pace Award in 2002 - which recognizes individuals who have dedicated at least 10
years of service to the teleconferencing industry and were known as innovators
and pioneers. As a tenured
Teleconferencing professional, Mr. Payne maintains an intimate knowledge of, and
relationship with, the industry. His
constant strives toward excellence, analytical and creative skills make him a
valuable team member of this organization.
Dan Tokuoka Vice
President of Sales
Dan Tokuoka, a former Regional Sales Director for
Genesys North America, was responsible for managing and executing
the sales plan within the retail sales division. Tokuoka
directed a dedicated team of National Account Executives focused on
the acquisition of new customers, in addition to a dedicated team of
Account Managers focused on the relationship building and retention
of existing clients
Dan Tokuoka was the former Vice President of Sales
for Aloha Conferencing, a Cable & Wireless company. Formerly a District
Sales Manager for Sprint Hawaii, Tokuoka brings to his current
position more than 18 years of telecommunications management
experience, eight of which have been specifically in the
teleconferencing industry.
Prior to entering the telecommunications industry
Tokuoka was the President of a privately held general contracting
firm specializing in City and County, State and Federal Government
projects throughout the State of Hawaii. His responsibilities
included strategic planning, bidding and operations.
Tokuoka attended the University of Hawaii where he
majored in Economics before entering the professional market. |
