How to obtain your Automated Conference Calling Card

Tips For Room Number & PIN Selection

To ensure conference security Moderators will be required to select a 10 digit "virtual Room Number" and a four digit PIN.  The Room Number will be used by everyone who attends your meetings, and we recommend selecting a number that is easy to remember (such as the area code and phone number of your office line).

Your four digit PIN should be treated as an ATM PIN.  Do not write this down or disclose this to others.  If you do need to change your PIN this can be done while in conference or by contacting our office.

Tips For Better Conference Calls

1)  Have a clear, set agenda

2)  Confirm participant attendance

3)  Introduce each participant or use our Roll Call feature

4)  Ask participants to identify themselves each time they speak

5)  Activate the mute button on your speakerphone when not speaking

6)  Keep background noise to a minimum at each participant's location

7)  If you have any type of problem during the call, DON'T HANG UP!  Just pick up your handset and dial *0.  A Conference Coordinator will come on-line to assist.

8)  Schedule your next meeting while everyone is still on-line. 

Tips For Supporting a Large Call With Multiple Speakers

1)  Provide your speakers with the instructions on how to un-mute their lines using the #6 command on their phones.

2)  When you are ready to start your conference have the Moderator press *5 to mute the entire audience.

3)  The speakers can then press #6 to un-mute themselves and remain in talk mode.
